Discipline is one of the 12 Virtues that form the core of Ingenium. It is one of the virtues that belongs to the Duty Quadrant. It is the eighth Virtue taught because after taking responsibility for one's actions and thoughts, it is important to develop good habits in order to achieve constant progress and success with goals. It is defined as "activity, exercise, or a regimen that develops or improves a skill or trait." Discipline is taught using the 8th Key as a means of being diligent with our own progress. The eighth Key is intended to help foster a sense of awareness of our own actions toward progress as well as making positive habits that will help one achieve success.
The Key to Discipline is called "Be Vigilant, Be Diligent." It is about being constantly aware of your actions and forming habits.
Being a part of the Duty Quadrant, this virtue is also about not neglecting our own duties in life, specifically the duty of taking success in your own hands with a plan of action.
The Litany affirmation for Discipline:
I am aware of my thoughts and my choices. I focus my energy on things that are beneficial and let go of trivial matters. I am unburdened from the stress of things that are beyond my control. I constantly seek ways to improve, and I am disciplined in habits that brings me closer to my destiny.
The abbreviated Litany is "I am diligent in doing what needs to be done, without complaint."
